Well January started off a little bit different this year with the weather, nevertheless everyone has been working really hard and putting in a lot of effort. We celebrated Catholic Schools Week, Grandparents Day and St. Brigids day.

Third class travelled to Ballinacarriga on Friday, February 7th, for an indoor football blitz. They played Barryroe, Knockskeagh, Kilbritten and Ballinacarriga. Everyone played their heart out, a great day was had by all!

The Credit Union quiz took place on Friday, February 7th also. We had two teams taking part- Natalia, Fionn, Asad and Philip came second while Molly, Moira, Aoife and Cadhla were overall winners. Both teams will be representing the school in the next round - super exciting and well done!

We sadly bid farewell to Mr O'Donovan. He was a great asset to the school and he will be missed. We then welcomed Mr Mulcahy to the school and we look forward to getting to know him.

We are taking part in the Food Dudes initiative again this year. It is a fun way to try new foods and to learn about healthy eating and the nutritional benefits of eating plenty of fruit and vegetables.

There were a lot of entrants to the Scor from Dromore Ns this year and they all did really well.

Alex came third in his Taekwondo competitions - patterns and sparring. Well done Alex.

Emma won the Credit Union Art Competition - Well Done Emma

Another montage of a little bit of everything we've been up to so far this term.
